Steatite Integrated Systems Specialises in high reliability rack mount & fanless computers, timing and display products that can be integrated into Multi-Function Consoles, Rack Cabinets and Enclosures, providing complex integrated solutions that include the project Through-Life Support needs. Operating from a modern purpose designed facility in Ashchurch, Gloucestershire (UK) we offer System Design, Development, Qualification, Manufacture, Servicing and Integration capabilities. Additional associated services include Technical Publications, Design Studies and Post Design Services.
The facility has the manufacturing capability and experience necessary to meet the demanding budgets and timescales required by our customers for equipment that is designed and engineered to operate in the most challenging environments. We have a wealth of experience in highly regulated industries including defence, transportation, medical and marine, working with the major Defence Prime Contractors and the global OEMs.
Steatite leverages its own Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components to accelerate development and reduce costs, while customising these systems to meet the stringent requirements of certified military, medical, rail and maritime industries. Our deep domain expertise in the areas of computing, displays, timing electronics and electromechanical design allows us to offer adaptable and future-proofed solutions, where reliability, quality, traceability and longevity of supply are critical.
Multifunction Operator Consoles
We offer both the ground-up design of new operator consoles, while also being able to refresh the capabilities of existing consoles via the design and integration of upgrade kits.
Integrated Rack Cabinets
Our enclosures are designed to protect sensitive electronics from the high levels of shock and vibration, extremes of temperature, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) that may be experienced in a harsh marine environment.
Through-Life Support Services
Military platforms often have an operational life measured in decades, which can make supporting the high-tech onboard systems particularly challenging – Steatite can help take away some of this pain.
Design Services
Steatite always prefer to utilise COTS hardware wherever possible, but, when a project demands it, we have the in-house capability to customise existing hardware or to design new hardware from the ground up.
Integration Facility
Based in Ashchurch, Gloucestershire (UK) and offering around 7,000 square feet of production space, the new facility is ideally located to benefit from a wealth of local Engineering and Manufacturing talent, while offering good transport links to the rest of the country.
